Last night I was planning a nice evening in. I had biked home after my day in the market and a great dinner @ Taco Pica. I was beat and sweaty when I got the call.
It was an old friend from university & his ball team was in town. They had played in the provincial tournament and were finished for the weekend. He invited me out. I got ready and called back asking if I should bring my guitar?... YES, said a random man's voice on the phone. So I headed out.
Thank you Gentlemen! What an intimate and hilarious night of music and stories. Not at all what I expected to be doing & one of the nicest surprises I've had in some time now.
Marimichi Rocks! I can't wait for the August Party!
